Every "Check Live Availability and Prices" button on this site, and every in-text tour link, goes to the GetYourGuide or Viator listing for that tour with our affiliate tag attached. On the where to stay in Longyearbyen guide, the "Check Rates" buttons go to Expedia through the Travelpayouts network. Those are the only affiliate networks used here. If you book after clicking one of these links, this site earns a commission from the platform. The price you pay is the same as if you had searched for the tour yourself.
What It Does Not Change
The money affects nothing about how the roster is built or presented.
- Ordering: category pages sort by review count, not by commission.
- Inclusion: all 52 live bookable listings are listed, including those with no reviews and no price shown.
- Honesty: expensive listings such as the $2,344 two-day snowmobile expedition are labelled for what they are, and no page promises a polar bear or a northern lights sighting.
- Dog sledding and kayaking are sold direct by kennels and outfitters, not through either platform, and this site earns nothing from them.
Ratings, Review Counts And Prices
Every rating and review count shown on this site is the platform's own figure, taken from the GetYourGuide or Viator listing. Numbers are not rounded, inflated or hidden, and small review counts are shown as small review counts, because on Svalbard a listing with four reviews is normal rather than a warning. Prices are USD from-prices that move with your travel dates and booking country, so the live listing is the authority on what a tour costs on the day you book. Where a listing shows no price at all, this site says so rather than inventing a figure.
If You Would Rather Not Use Our Links
That is fine. You can search for the tour by name on GetYourGuide or Viator and book direct, or use the comparison table and the guides purely as research and book however you prefer. Nothing on this site requires a booking through our links.
